Ai-Petri � a mountain massif separating the southern coast of the Crimea. Represents a karstic plateau, with a set of caves, wells, mines. Ai-Petri "yaila" it is extended along Southern Coast of Crimea from Gurzuf to Baydarsky Gate. The highest point of Ai-Petri is 1234 m above sea level and it marked with triangle point, that you can sea in this gallery. In the southwest of a plateau there is the well-known Ai-Petri trident reminding teeth of a huge dragon, largest of them is 7-19 meters height. As scientists consider, the top Ai-Petri is the ancient coral reef, many millions years ago risen from a sea bottom. On a plateau there is the Cascade mine, one of the deepest cavities of the Crimea, more than 400 m. Through Ai-Petri there passes the highway Bakhchisarai � Ai-Petri � Yalta constructed in 1865-1894.
